Gedeon GRC Consulting provided full professional structural engineering and construction administration services for the design of a new 53,000-square-foot, 6-story residential building with a cellar located at the corner of Park and Throop avenues in Brooklyn, NY.
Gedeon GRC Consulting worked with Monica Lopez Architects to provide new affordable housing for the community. The site is located adjacent to the Woodhull Medical Hospital in Brooklyn.
Our scope of work included structural analysis and design of the building and canopy structures and producing construction documents and specifications. Special attention was given to the foundations, varying from 2 feet to 15 feet below the slabs on grade, depending on where you are in the building.

During the Construction Administration Phase, our responsibilities included responding to RFI’s, reviewing shop drawings and visiting the site to observe the progress of the construction.
